Classical guitar is a guitar that used in classical music. It derived in the fifteenth and sixteenth century from the Spanish instrument Vihuela and Gittern. Classical guitar is an inflexible art form. It is also known as the nylon-string guitar.

The classical guitar can be a good option for beginners who are interested to learn how to play guitar. It is also a right way for experienced guitarists to widen their repertoire. There are many conditions on how to play the instrument in a classical setting.

Understanding structure and positioning for the device is the crucial point to learn how to play classical guitar. If a person learns how to play classical guitar, the person should long-term health, patient, and comfort mentalities.

Learn How to Play Classical Guitar

Classical guitar is a type of guitar that used nylon strings. It’s a beautiful invention for whom those are interesting to play guitars. There are many ways to learn classical guitars. Three parts need to learn how to play classical guitar. These three parts are describing below.

Learning Chords

The first method is learning chords to play classical guitar. Classical guitar uses soft steel strings. For guts strings, the thin lines are E, A, and D. These soft strings produce a warmer sound. E being the thickest between the A and D strings.

Pinch and pull multiple strings at the same time by using both thumbs. Assign each string several starting at the smallest chain.

The first finger uses all the chords in the second fret, and the second finger uses in third finger fret. The pinky will use for the fifth fret to create A chord. Plucking each classical strings in the following sequence: 2, 4, 1, 2, 4, 1, 3, 4, and 1 by the opposite hand.

Learning Structure

Learning how to play classical guitar, it is essential to know the structure of the guitar. This part will guide to know about the best classical guitar. The head part of a guitar is using for tuning.

Tuning means to correct the accurate notes to get the warm sound. The neck of the classical guitar is fret lines. It is a flat or slightly curved piece of wood that has metal fret wires implanted onto it.

The saddle and bridge grip the end of the strings. The soundhole is the center of the guitar aids in protecting the sound. A pickguard can use to protect the body of the guitar from scratch. Guitar maximum volume determines by air through the soundhole.

Positioning Body

Positioning the body is a vital part of playing the guitar. Classical guitar playing in the chair by the guitarist. Elbow rest and firm base chair need to play the classical guitar. Elbow rest will get in the way when playing. A firm base is required to give support and keep comfortable.

Leg position differs from the guitarist. For example, Spanish guitarist plays with their legs together. It is imperative when playing classical guitar to feel comfortable. Classical guitarist should have a relaxed and straight back along with an open chest.

Trimming fingernails of fretting hand so that it can have the maximum control when holding strings. Keep nails longer for picking sides so that it may produce a higher volume.
